Reading Candles in Sequence
A single candle is like one word. Two or three candles together are like a short sentence — they tell a more complete story. When you read left to right, ask: “Is the mood changing?” A series of red candles followed by a strong green one might mean sellers are losing control. A series of green candles followed by a strong red one might mean buyers are tiring. The patterns below are among the most widely taught. Learn to spot them, but remember: always look at the bigger picture, not just the pattern alone.
